 Welcome!

Research in our lab is focused on solving complex problems that require an understanding of human behavior and decision-making. We study individuals and groups using a range of theories from disciplines including conservation psychology to explore factors that enable and constrain adaptations to environmental degradation, particularly in public land management contexts. Although we embrace mixed methods, our lab specializes in quantitative techniques that provide opportunities for incorporating stakeholder viewpoints into policy outcomes. We work at both local and global scales, and aim to inform management decisions about how to sustain ecosystems and human well-being.
